Hello Hillary Pair Photography followers!

Summer break has officially begun, bringing excitement and opportunities for quality time with your children. However, it is also the season when the phrase "I'm bored" seems to echo constantly.

Fortunately, I have a solution to keep your child engaged and entertained.

Has your child expressed an interest in photography? After receiving numerous inquiries about photography classes for kids, I am excited to announce that Hillary Pair Photography will be hosting a summer photography class for children aged 8-18.

The classes will be held twice a week for one hour. Participants can choose between an evening class on Tuesdays and Thursdays or a morning class on Wednesday and Fridays.

Now, to answer the question you might have about the cost: there will be a total of 10 classes to cover the entire curriculum, with each class costing $10. Additionally, there is a $20 registration fee that will contribute to an end-of-class gallery.

Parents have the option to pay the full $120 upfront or pay $10 before each class. However, the $20 registration fee is required at the time of registration.

The photography classes will feature a combination of instruction and hands-on experience. The initial sessions will focus solely on instruction, providing an introduction to the fundamentals of photography.

Although it is preferable for your child to have a camera, it is not mandatory. The classes will utilize and provide instruction on DSLR cameras exclusively. Therefore, any cameras brought to class must be DSLR cameras. The more students equipped with cameras, the greater the opportunity for practical practice during sessions.

Additionally, your child will require access to a laptop with Photoshop installed for the editing lessons.

I am thrilled to teach children the fundamentals of photography this summer! Classes will commence in the first week of July, with registration opening on June 13th.
